Antisemitism and Islamophobia
This course examines antisemitism and Islamophobia in France during the 19th, 20th, and 21st centuries. Students will examine a variety of written and visual material, including novels, newspapers, caricatures, pamphlets, and other primary sources, to better understand the function of antisemitism and Islamophobia in modern and contemporary French society and politics.
